Construction of Bus and Cars Parking Area for Rail - Package (3)

The scope of works includes an asphalt parking area for 225 vehicles with specialized canopy shading, fully paved carriageways, including provision for pedestrian and cyclist access, specialist lighting, signage and wayfinding, security building and guardhouses with the necessary service connections, all access control requirements, including all security infrastructure and equipment, all fit-out requirements including all hardware but exclusive of any specialist software, utilities and infrastructure.
The Park & Ride scheme has been initiated to ensure the delivery of these works prior to the commencement of the Metro stations in order to ensure the successful operation of the Metro stations.
A summary of the facilities at this site is as follows:
- Security Building – 1no. with a total of 89.70 sq. m
- Guard House – 2no. with a total of 16.20 sq. m
- Payment Booth – 2no. with a total of 20.20 sq. m
- Entrance Gate Canopy – 1no. approximately 7.40m high and 24.80m wide
- Canopies for 225 car parking bays
